Line-Up
Biography
Kingdom of Salvation was founded in January of 2003 by Jussi, David and Javed. A problem we were immediately faced with was
finding a suitable location for rehearsing. This proved quite difficult, but after some time of luckless efforts we finally managed to track
down a low priced room in our hometown Leverkusen (to some known as Aspirin-City, not more than a swallow's flight
away from Cologne).
Time passed by, but still no singer could be found. Therefore Jussi took care of the vocals. We had already spent many months for
rehearsing and writing new songs, but had still no luck in finding a bass player. Finally, in June 2004, the first line-up was complete,
as Christoph, a friend of ours, could be convinced to play the bass guitar. At the end of 2004 the band decided to record a three
track demo mostly with homerecording devices.
In June 2005 Christoph left the band again for personal reasons. But soon the chance emerged to fill this gap. Since September 05
Mosh-Machine Stefan Hüppen, formerly playing with Ametropie, takes care of pounding bass sounds. Following this line-up change
we managed to play at every event that we were offered.
Between June and September 2006 we stopped live appearances to record our first full-length album. After three months of hard,
nerve-wracking work, we had painfully captured everything we wanted to, so we could focus on finishing tasks of mixing & mastering.
The release of "Lost in Chaos" took place in November then.
